AC Milan are said to be interested in loaning in Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot for another season.
Diogo Dalot spent the last season on loan with AC Milan and did well for the Rossoneris. The player played for 33 times and helped them to finish 2nd in the Serie A.
The player recently featured for the Portuguese under-21 side in the European Championship where his country ultimately lost in the final against Germany.
But his decent performances at Milan has convinced Milan to go for another season on loan for the player. The Italian giants are impressed by the player and according to Calciomercato, have made the move for the player.
It will be interesting to see whether Manchester United agree to let him go for another season, but there may be a change in the terms this time.
AC Milan are going to bring the player on loan, but a buy-out clause of a £15 million may be inserted as well.
The Portuguese hasn’t made a mark at the Old Trafford since his move from Porto. The player was mostly at the fringes, and was deemed surplus to requirements after the arrival of Aaron Wan Bissaka.
The right-back is also said to be intersted for another year at the San Siro and may be pushing for an agreement soon.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will also be happy to let the playr go for further development, but they will have to find a right-back in the market as well.
Apart from Wan Bissaka, there are no recognised right-backs at the club. And there have been reports that the Red Devils are pushing to bring n Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid.
It has been an underwhelming period for Dalot at the Old Trafford, but the 22-year-old didn’t get many chances. He played only 25 times for the Premier League club, and was deployed in three different positions during his time at the club.
